Graeme A. Linkletter P.Eng. Msc. FEC, FCSBE 

Graeme grew up on a mixed farm and attended the one room school in the community of Linkletter, PEI.  He attended Summerside High School, Nova Scotia Agricultural College, MacDonald College and McGill University.

Graeme attended NSAC from 1956-1958.  His Diploma years prepared him for two years at MacDonald College, graduating in 1960.  After graduation he worked as the Prince County Agricultural Representative for the PEI Department of Agriculture.  He returned to McGill in 1968 to study for a Master of Science Degree in Agricultural Engineering, graduating in 1970.  From 1970 to 1997 his working career was with the PEI Department of Agriculture as Farm Buildings Engineer.  This extension type position provided engineering plans and technical information to the agricultural industry.  During this period of time Graeme designed over 1500 farm buildings in PEI.  Graeme was Supervisor of Engineering and Land Resources for the PEI Department of Agriculture from 1982 - 1997.  Over the years he has authored and co-authored publications on potato storage ventilation.  Government sponsored projects in Uruguay and Poland provided an opportunity for Graeme to do some international travel.

After 37 years of public service Graeme took early retirement in 1997 and started his own engineering consulting company.  The engineering projects undertaken by Linkletter Engineering Inc. are mostly agricultural structures in PEI.  International projects consisted of designing a large potato storage operation near Moscow, Russia and a survey of the potato storage requirements in Ukraine.

Graeme has been a registered professional engineer in PEI since 1970 and was Executive Director of Engineers PEI for ten years, (1989 to 1999).  Graeme is a Fellow of Engineers Canada as well as a Fellow of the Canadian Society for Bioengineering.

Graeme is married and has three children and four grand children.
